For decades we have been led down the wrong road of unconstitutional big government, and now voters are looking for an experienced, principled conservative to lead the Republican ticket in 2012. Americans for a Conservative President is a group of Reagan staffers, long-time conservative activists, and just ordinary Americans who are frustrated with the status quo. We have come together to identify and promote a candidate for the Presidency who both shares our conservative principles and can be relied upon to uphold them.
Americans want a President who:
- maintains an abiding commitment to the Constitutional principles of limited government,
- believes that the free market system provides the greatest economic benefits for all members of our society,
- desires to scale back an out-of-control government,
- pledges to defend the United States from all threats to our people, our property and our national interests, and
- respects the traditional American values of faith in God, commitment to our families, hard work, an independent citizenry, a neighborly concern for others, and an unabashed love for this country.
